Diego Merlot

Established in 1769, San Diego County is one of California’s original winemaking regions and is home to the state’s oldest grapes. Of course, it’s not difficult to see why. The same warm Mediterranean climate and cooling Pacific Ocean breezes that attract tourists also provide ideal conditions for growing ripe, concentrated grapes. And with 2019 reported as another excellent vintage, now’s the perfect time to explore. Look forward to vibrant plum and red berry flavors, rounded out by hints of fresh herbs. The palate is plush and velvety, making this Merlot a perfect pizza, pasta or dance partner.
