The original Black Stump’s beating heart has always been a healthy dose of the very rare, jet-black Durif grape (aka Petite Sirah). Therefore, he decided to make the anniversary release 100% from Durif.
Crafted from Alan’s finest parcels of Durif (grown during the excellent 2019 vintage, no less), The Black Stump 50th Anniversary red overflows with dark chocolate, black fruit, and toasty spice flavors.
