A dry red blend of 70-30 blend of Refosco and Merlot, with intense aromas of black and red berries and plum. The palate is earthy, savory and structured, with notes of red berries, cherry, truffle and spice. The grapes were harvested late, allowing for deeply complex flavors to develop, and the wine was aged six years in oak barrels, followed by an additional 6 months in bottle before release.
